Lampada is neither a chain of shops nor an online store. We are a family-run business in Maastricht’s Jekerkwartier district, where Jeroen, together with his daughter and two sons, is on hand every day to help you. Personal, expert and straightforward.
Our story
Over 30 years’ experience
Lampada has a long history. Jeroen has spent his entire career working in the lighting industry. He set up his own business in 2008.
Lampada has grown into a true family business. The next generation is now the driving force behind Lampada. Ellen, Paul and Thomas keep a close eye on developments in design and technology. They are on hand to advise you on choosing the right lighting for your home or business.

Jeroen founded Lampada, bringing with him the expertise that can only be gained through years of working with lighting. His daughter and two sons have each found their own way into the trade and now work in the shop every day. Together, they ensure that every customer is met by someone who knows exactly what they’re talking about.

Many people come to Lampada with a vague idea and a room that isn’t well lit. This is how we tackle it.
What do you do in that room? What sort of atmosphere are you looking for? What’s currently on the walls, and why don’t you like it? We always start by asking questions.
A lamp that looks great in the shop but looks out of place in your living room isn’t going to help anyone. We always take the context into account.
We have all the brands on display in our showroom. This way, you can see exactly what you’re getting, including the atmosphere a lamp creates in a room.
